A Pride & Joy campaign
Is my child gay? Will my gay child have kids? Common questions asked by the parents of Google.
If you’ve searched these things, you’ll know these queer-ies come with no malice, just genuine curiosity. But what you’ll find on the other end of the search engine is often misinformation (e.g., quizzes saying your son is gay because his favourite colour is pink…)
The #askingforaparent campaign aims to show parents that:
1. it does not matter if your child is gay/queer/genderqueer
2. there are better places to find information than chatrooms and quizzes on Google (like Pride & Joy)
We will release [NUMBER] informational and witty videos on the Pride & Joy website. Find them below!
